Correlation of Levels of Serum MMP-9,ProGRP and Endothelin with Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Staging
Objective To explore the correlation of serum matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9)and serum progastrin-re-leasing peptide(ProGRP)with tumor staging in patients with non-small cell lung cancer. Methods 70 patients with non-small cell lung cancer were selected as the observation group, and 70 healthy people with physical examination during the same period were included in the control group.Serum levels of MMP-9,ProGRP and endothelin were compared between the 2 groups, and the clinical diagnostic value of the above indicators was analyzed by ROC curve. Results The expression levels of MMP-9,ProGRP and endothelin in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The positive expres-sion rates of MMP-9,ProGRP and endothelin in male patients and patients with tumor stages Ⅲ and Ⅳ were significantly higher than those in female patients and patients with tumor stages Ⅰ and Ⅱ(P<0.05).MMP-9,ProGRP and endothelin were signifi-cantly correlated with tumor staging(P<0.05).Conclusion MMP-9,ProGRP and endothelin can be used as detection indica-tors of non-small cell lung cancer, and the expression levels are correlated with tumor staging and may provide a basis for clinical diagnosis.
