The Relationship Between Serum NSE,CYFRA21-1,and Pro GRP with Pathological Characteristics and Metastasis of Lung Cancer
Objective To explore the relationship between serum neuron specific enolase(NSE),cytokeratin 19 frag-ment(CYFRA21-1),and gastrin releasing peptide precursor(Pro GRP)with pathological characteristics and metastasis of lung cancer.Methods 100 lung cancer patients were selected as the lung cancer group,50 patients with benign lung lesions were se-lected as the benign group,and 50 healthy individuals were selected as the control group.5 mL of fasting venous blood was collect-ed from 3 groups of subjects,and serum NSE,Pro GRP,and CYFRA21-1 levels were measured.Compare the differences in NSE,Pro GRP,and CYFRA21-1 levels among three groups,and analyze the relationship between NSE,Pro GRP,and CYFRA21-1 with the pathological characteristics and metastasis of lung cancer.Results The levels of NSE,Pro GRP,and CYFRA21-1 in the lung cancer group and benign group were higher than those in the control group,with statistical differences(P<0.05).The levels of NSE,Pro GRP,and CYFRA21-1 in stage Ⅲ~Ⅳ lung cancer patients were higher than those in stage Ⅰ~Ⅱ patients,with sta-tistical differences(P<0.05);The NSE and Pro GRP levels in small cell carcinoma were higher than those in adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma,while CYFRA21-1 levels were lower than those in adenocarcinoma.Pro GRP levels in squamous cell carcinoma were higher than those in adenocarcinoma,and CYFRA21-1 levels were lower than those in adenocarcinoma,with statis-tical differences(P<0.05);The levels of NSE,Pro GRP,and CYFRA21-1 in patients with metastasis were higher than those without metastasis,with statistical differences(P<0.05).Conclusion NSE,Pro GRP,and CYFRA21-1 are highly expressed in lung cancer patients,and their levels are related to TNM staging and metastasis.
