Evaluation of the Efficacy of Two Different Thoracoscopic Procedures in Patients with Early-stage NSCLC and the Impact on Their Lung Function and Prognosis
Objective To investigate the efficacy of 2 different thoracoscopic procedures in patients with early-stage NSCLC and the impact on their lung function and prognosis. Methods 88 patients with early-stage NSCLC(all stage Ⅰ A1)were selected and divided into 2 groups according to the differences in the surgical procedures.Among them,40 patients in the study group were treated by thoracoscopic pulmonary wedge resection, while 48 patients in the control group were treated by thoracoscop-ic anatomical segmental lung resection, comparing the clinical efficacy and other differences between the 2 groups. Results The operating time, intraoperative bleeding, postoperative complication rate and postoperative hospital stay were all better in the study group than in the control group(P<0.05);The postoperative pulmonary function indexes in both groups were lower than before surgery, and more so in the control group(P<0.05);The inflammatory indexes were higher in both groups after surgery, and more so in the control group(P<0.05);One year after surgery, there was no difference in the overall survival rate and recurrence rate between the 2 groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Thoracoscopic pulmonary wedge resection has better efficacy for patients with ear-ly stage NSCLC,which not only shortens the operation time and accelerates the postoperative recovery of patients, but also has less impact on lung function and reduces the degree of inflammatory response of patients after surgery, which ultimately does not affect the prognosis of patients and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
