Correlation of Serum miR-135b and LZST1 Expression Levels and Prognosis in Patients with Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer
Objective To investigate the expression levels of serum micrornA-135b(miR-135b)and leucine zipline tumor suppressor gene 1(LZST1)in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)and their correlation with prog-nosis.Methods 62 patients with advanced NSCLC were collected as the observation group. In addition,94 patients with benign pulmonary lesions were collected as control group.Compare the expression levels of serum miR-135b and LZST1 between the ob-servation group and the control group, compared the expression levels of serum miR-135b and LZST1 in patients with different prognosis, and analyze the relationship between the expression levels of serum miR-135b and LZST1 in patients with advanced NSCLC and their prognosis.Prognostic value of miR-135b and LZST1 in patients with advanced NSCLC.Results There were no significant differences in gender, age and body mass index between the 2 groups(P>0.05).The expression level of serum miR-135b in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and LZST1 was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The serum miR-135b expression level of dead patients was higher than that of surviving patients, and the LZST1 level was lower than that of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was a significant positive correlation between miR-135b and death in advanced NSCLC patients,a negative correlation between LZST1 and death in advanced NSCLC patients, and a negative correlation between miR-135b and LZST1 expression(P<0.05).Calcu-late the Jorden index and obtain the critical value corresponding to the maximum approximate index.4.065 was the threshold for miR-135b to predict death in patients with advanced NSCLC,with a sensitivity of 84.00%and a specificity of 81.10%;0.670 was the threshold for LZST1 to predict death in patients with advanced NSCLC,with a sensitivity of 68.00%and a specificity of 78.40%.The AUC area of miR-135b,LZST1 and their combination was 0.792,0.742 and 0.850,respectively.The AUC area of Mir-135b,LZST1 and their combination was the largest, the sensitivity was 88.00%,and the specificity was 70.30%,indicating good prediction efficiency. Conclusion The expression level of serum miR-135b is abnormally elevated and LZST1 is significant-ly decreased in patients with advanced NSCLC.High expression of miR-135b and low expression of LZST1 are correlated with poor prognosis of patients, and miR-135b is negatively correlated with LZST1.miR-135b combined with LZST1 has high predictive effi-cacy in patients with advanced NSCLC.
