The Expression of EGFR,ER,PR in Uterine Fibroid Tissue and Their Relationship with Postoperative Recurrence in Patients
Objective To study the expression of epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR),estrogen receptor(ER),and progesterone receptor(PR)in uterine fibroid tissue and their relationship with postoperative recurrence in patients. Methods 68 patients with uterine fibroids were selected, and their fibroid tissue and adjacent tissue were collected during surgery.Immunohis-tochemical methods were used to detect and compare the expression differences of EGFR,ER,and PR in different tissues. After 1 year of postoperative follow-up,the fibroids were divided into recurrent group and non recurrent group based on whether they re-curred.The expression differences of EGFR,ER,and PR between the 2 groups were statistically compared. Results The positive expression rates of EGFR,ER,and PR in the fibroid tissue were higher than those in the adjacent tissue, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 1 year of postoperative follow-up,a total of 12 out of 68 patients with uterine fibroids ex-perienced recurrence, with a recurrence rate of 17.65%(12/68).The positive expression rates of EGFR,ER,and PR in the re-current group were higher than those in the non recurrent group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Con-clusion EGFR,ER,and PR show abnormally high expression in uterine fibroid tissue and are closely related to patient recur-rence.
