Effects of Estradiol Valerate Combined with Dydrogesterone on Postoperative Recurrence and Ovarian Function in Patients with Ovarian Endometriosis
Objective To explore the effects of estradiol valerate combined with dydrogesterone on postoperative recur-rence and ovarian function in patients with ovarian endometriosis(OEM).Methods A total of 100 patients with OEM underwent laparoscopic resection were enrolled as the research objects.According to random number table method, they were divided into the control group(50 cases)and the study group(50 cases). After surgery, the control group was treated with dydrogesterone, while the study group was additionally treated with estradiol valerate for 3 months. The curative effect, levels of sex hormones[estradiol(E2),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH)]and anti-Mullerian hormone(AMH),and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the 2 groups. After 6 months of follow-up,recurrence rate and pregnancy rate were com-pared between the 2 groups. Results After treatment, total response rate of treatment was higher in study group than the control group(94.00%vs 80.00%,P<0.05).After treatment, levels of E2,FSH and LH were decreased, while AMH level was in-creased in both groups, and improvement of the above indexes was better in the study group than the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the 2 groups(P>0.05).The recurrence rate in study group was lower than that in the control group(2.00%vs 14.00%),and pregnancy rate was higher than that in the control group(64.00%vs 40.00%,P<0.05).Conclusion Estradiol valerate combined with dydrogesterone has significant curative effect on OEM,which can effectively regulate levels of sex hormones, improve ovarian function, reduce postoperative disease recur-rence and increase pregnancy rate.
