Analysis of the Biofunctional Role of NCAPG Gene in Breast Cancer Cells
Objective To investigate the effects of NCAPG gene on multiple biological functions of breast neoplasm cells MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231.Methods The cell models with NCAPG low expression with siRNA were constructed in MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 cells,severally.qRT-PCR,CCK-8 assay, the transwell assay and flow cytometry were used to detect the effect of NCAPG on the cell biology of breast neoplasm. Results Low expression of NCAPG can slow down the growth of MCF-7 and MDA-231 cells, and reduce the metastasis and invasion of MCF-7 and MDA-231 cells. Conclusion Down-regulation of NCAPG can inhibit various biological functions of breast neoplasm cells such as cell growth and metastasis, thereby restraining breast neo-plasm progression.
