Expression of VEGF-A and VEGFR-2 in Different Pathological Types of Non-small Cell Lung Cancer
Objective To investigate the expression differences of VEGF-A and VEGFR-2 in different pathological types of non-small cell lung cancer. Methods 72 NSCLC patients were selected as the research subjects, including 40 cases diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma(squamous cell carcinoma group)and 32 cases diagnosed with adenocarcinoma(adenocarcinoma group).QRCR method was used to detect the mRNA expression levels of VEGF-A and VEGFR-2 in lesion tissue samples,investi-gate the pathological characteristics of patients, and conduct correlation analysis. Results Expression levels of VEGF-A and VEGFR-2 mRNA in squamous cell carcinoma was lower than adenocarcinoma group(P<0.05).There was a statistically signifi-cant difference in the relative expression levels of VEGF-A and VEGFR-2 mRNA between patients with different differentiation levels, clinical stages, and lymph node metastasis in the adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma groups(P<0.05).There was a correlation between differentiation degree, clinical stage, lymph node metastasis, and relative expression levels of VEGF-A and VEGFR-2 mRNA in the adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma groups(P<0.05).Logisticregressionanalysis showed that VEGF-A and VEGFR-2 were important factors affecting the occurrence of lung cancer(P<0.05).Conclusion The expres-sion levels of VEGF-A and VEGFR-2 mRNA in adenocarcinoma are higher than those in squamous cell carcinoma, and are corre-lated with the differentiation degree, clinical stage, and lymph node metastasis of patients. They are also important influencing fac-tors leading to the occurrence of lung cancer.
