The Relationship Between the Expression Levels of PARP1,HGF and APF in Serum of Elderly Patients with Gastric Cancer and Tumor Invasion and Metastasis
Objective To explore the relationship between the expression levels of poly(ADP-ribose)polymerase 1(PARP1),hepatocyte growth factor(HGF)and alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)in serum of elderly patients with gastric cancer and tumor invasion and metastasis. Methods Retrospective analysis was adopted.A total of 198 elderly patients with gastric cancer were se-lected and tested for PARP1,HGF and APF.The serological test results and baseline data of patients were collected by consulting the patient's electronic medical records and the hospital information system(HIS)database.According to the tumor invasion and metastasis of gastric cancer patients within 1 year after diagnosis, they were divided into severe invasion and metastasis group(n=71)and controllable invasion and metastasis group(n=127).The levels of PARP1,HGF and the positive expression rate of APF were compared between the 2 groups.Logistic multivariate regression analysis was used to evaluate the correlation between the a-bove influencing factors and tumor invasion and metastasis in elderly patients with gastric cancer. Results The levels of PARP1 and HGF in the severe invasion and metastasis group were significantly higher than those in the controllable invasion and metasta-sis group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).In addition, the positive rate of APF expression in patients with severe invasion and metastasis was significantly higher than that in the controllable invasion and metastasis group, and the difference was also statistically significant(P<0.05).Multivariate regression analysis showed that the levels of PARP1 and HGF in patients with gastric cancer were positively correlated with tumor invasion and metastasis. The positive expression of APF was an independent risk factor for severe invasion and metastasis of tumor(P<0.05).Conclusion The high expression of PARP1,HGF and the positive expression of APF in elderly patients with gastric cancer are positively correlated with tumor invasion and metastasis, which has a high reference value for predicting the disease development process of gastric cancer patients.
