The Short-term Efficacy and Safety of Three-dimensional Conformal Radiotherapy Com-bined with Stereotactic Radiotherapy for Primary Liver Cancer
Objective To explore the short-term efficacy of three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy combined with ste-reotactic radiotherapy in the treatment of primary liver cancer, and to analyze its safety. Methods According to the random num-ber table method,96 patients with primary liver cancer were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 48 pa-tients in each group. The control group received stereotactic radiotherapy, while the observation group received three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy in addition to the control group. The clinical efficacy, serum tumor markers, liver function and radioactive adverse reactions were compared between the 2 groups, and the survival of the 2 groups was followed up to May 2023.Results The clinical remission rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the levels of serum carbohydrate antigen 19-9,alpha-fetoprotein,α-L-fucosidase,carcinoembryonic antigen, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase and total bilirubin in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistical signifi-cant difference in the incidence of radiation adverse reactions between the 2 groups during radiotherapy(P>0.05).During the follow-up period, the observation group had a longer survival time than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combina-tion of three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy and stereotactic radiotherapy can improve the treatment effect of primary liver cancer, reduce serum tumor marker levels, improve liver function, and prolong patient survival time without increasing radiation adverse reactions.
