Clinical Value of ICG Fluorescence Tracer Combined with Methylene Blue Staining in Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy of Breast Cancer Patients
Objective To investigate the clinical value of indocyanine green(ICG)fluorescence tracer method combined with methylene blue staining in sentinel lymph node biopsy(SLNB)of breast cancer patients. Methods 118 patients with breast cancer were selected and divided into 2 groups by random number table,59 cases in the control group and 59 cases in the obser-vation group.SLNB was performed in both groups.Methylene blue staining was used in the control group and ICG fluorescence tracer combined with methylene blue staining was used in the observation group.SLN detection, blood pressure drop, injection site infection, necrosis, fever and other complications were compared between the 2 groups. Results The success rate of tracer in the observation group was 98.31%(58/59),higher than that in the control group(86.44%(51/59),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).A total of 246 SLNS were detected in the observation group, with an average detection rate of(4.17±0.36)per patient.A total of 162 SLNS were detected in the control group, with an average of(2.75±0.32)SLNS per patient. The difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).No significant complications occurred in both groups.Conclu-sion Compared with methylene blue staining alone, the application of ICG fluorescence tracer combined with methylene blue staining in SLNB of breast cancer patients has a better effect, and has a higher tracer success rate, more detected quantities, and higher clinical application value.
