We took a survey on attempts at improving the scientific language before the advent of terminology. Any one science cannot be generated overnight, it is always a process of deliberation and preparation. Back in the Middle Ages, before the invention of terminology, the Italian language in the improvement of scientific terms to make a lot of effort and contribution. Especially in the dictionary compilation and classification of dictionary learning has made great achievements. Finally in the nineteenth century ushered in the Italian dictionary to learn the great development of science and technology terminology and terminology came into being. However, in science and technology into practical terms dictionary and a dictionary of technical terms defined in the process of entry of how many there are still controversial.
