Objetive To explore the clinical experience of pterygium excision combined with autoconjunctival transplantation with"slip-knot"suture.Methods The surgical data of 98 patients(128 eyes)with pterygium admitted in our hospital from May 2017 to May 2019 were collected.The clinical efficacy of applying suturing with"a loose knot"for pterygium excision combined with autologous limbal conjunctival transplantation in the treatment of pterygium was retrospectively analyzed.Result After the pterygium surgery,the patients were followed up for 3-12 months,and the conjunctival wounds and corneal wounds in most of the patients were repaired well.There were 5 cases and 5 eyes with recurrence after surgery.Conclusion The application of"slip-knot"suture in pterygium excision combined with autologous limbal conjunctival transplantation for pterygium has the advantages of"Simple suture,small suture knot,simple suture removal,and significantly reduce foreign body sensation",which can be popularized and used in clinical practice.
