The effect of modified Parks incision strabismus correction under the microscope in the treatment of children with horizontal concomitant strabismus and its influence on tear film function
Objective To investigate the effect of modified Parks incision strabismus correction under the microscope in the treatment of children with horizontal strabismus and its influence on tear film function.Methods From June 2017 to November 2019 in our department,95 children with horizontal concomitant strabismus were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into two groups according to the random number table method,all underwent strabismus correction surgery,and 47 cases in the control group received intraoperative surgery.The limbal trapezoidal conjunctival flap incision was performed.48 cases in the observation group were given a modified Parks incision under a microscope.One month later,the visual function improvement effect,surgical effect and tear film function of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of observation group was 95.83%higher than that of control group 89.36%(x 2=0.6632,P=0.4154).The operation time in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group(t=11.9892,P=0.0000).After treatment,the tear secretion in observation group was higher than that in control group(t=15.0051,P=0.0000),the tear film rupture time was higher than that in control group(t=9.2228,P=0.0000),and the corneal fluorescence staining score was lower than that in control group(t=10.7815,P=0.0000).Conclusion The modified Parks incision strabismus correction surgery under the microscope has a definite effect in the treatment of common strabismus.It can significantly correct the eyes and improve the visual function and tear film function of children.It is safe and reliable and worthy of application.
