An Examination of the Growth of the Ocean Energy Sector in China
Ocean energy is a newly popular renewable energy source.There are a lot of opportunities for the ocean energy industry to expand given the increased attention that the world community is paying to issues like climate change,energy security and energy independence.Resources for maritime energy are abundant in China.Encouraging the growth of the marine energy sector is crucial for advancing the dual-carbon strategy's implementation,preserving the energy structure's diversity,advancing the marine economy,and building a maritime power.This paper provides an overview of the development patterns and application scenarios by examining the current condition of China's ocean energy business and technology.It also compares and contrasts the issues facing the growth of the domestic and international ocean energy industries,making recommendations like improving the coordination of pertinent management departments and creating focused,phased incentive programs to support China's ocean energy technology industrialization.
