The Main Risks and Response Strategies of Oil & Gas Cooperation under the New Situation of the Belt and Road
Since the Belt and Road Initiative in 2013,Chinese oil enterprises have continuously deepened their oil and gas cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road and achieved the fruitful results.Currently,the international political and economic landscape is undergoing drastic changes,and the development environment of the Belt and Road is becoming more complex and changeable.The paper comprehensively analyzes the main risks Chinese oil enterprises face in participating in high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road and proposes systematic risk prevention and response strategies from both macro and operational levels by combining the relative risks presenting six new features and trends in order to help Chinese oil enterprises prevent and resolve major risks and promote the stable development of oil and gas cooperation under the Belt and Road.
