Research on Power Configuration Scheme for Pure New Energy Transmission Channel
With the implementation of large-scale wind and solar power bases in deserts,Gobi, and wastelands in China, the proportion of coal-fired power as the main supporting power source for external transmission channels is gradually decreasing. In addition, with the continuous accumulation of experience in flexible DC demonstration projects,it has become possible for new energy bases to use ultra-high voltage flexible DC technology for large-scale external transmission of electricity. This paper studies the wind solar ratio firstly based on the complementary characteristics of new energy output, considering the indicators of DC reasonable utilization hours and abandonment rate, with the goal of minimizing the comprehensive electricity price, compares the technical-economic differences of different types of energy storage technologies secondly, considers the need to study the capacity and types of energy storage configurations at the peak of the receiving end thirdly, and determines the recommended power supply solution finally by integrating multiple evaluation indicators and taking a comprehensive comparison.A case study of a new energy transmission base in northwest China shows that a reasonable ratio of wind and solar power can increase the utilization hours of the channel, reduce the configuration of energy storage sources, lower the rate of new energy abandonment, improve the economy of DC power transmission, and testify the feasibility of pure new energy transmission channels.
