Composite deacidifier for efficiently removing naphthenic acid from second vacuum side-stream oil
A composite deacidifier was used to deacidize and recover naphthenic acid from second vacuum side-stream oil.The acid value titration, viscosity test and FTIR methods were used to investigate the effect of reaction conditions on the deacidification. The experimental results show that the appropriate deacidification process conditions are as follows:reaction temperature of 30℃,volume ratio of agent to oil of 0.50,reaction time of 15 min, phase separation temperature of 25℃,and phase separation time of 60 min.Under these conditions, the deacidification rate reaches 92.70%,and the acid value of refined oil decreases to 0.33 mg/g.The corrosion resistance requirements of industrial equipment are met(acid value is less than 0.50 mg/g),and the apparent distribution ratio of naphthenic acid in the composite deacidifier phase and oil phase reaches 24.79.When the acid value is less than 0.50 mg/g,the amount of deacidifier in the three-stage extraction is more than 40%less than that in the first-stage extraction. It is found that the quality of the recovered naphthenic acid by-product is good, and the acid value is 177.03 mg/g,which reaches the acid value standard of No.55 of the first-grade petroleum acid.
