Properties of PBST ester with different topological structures
Poly(butylene succinate-co-butylene terephthalate)ester films(PBST-Kx)with different topological structures and branching chains were prepared by solution casting, and the structure and properties of PBST-Kx were studied by 1H NMR,GPC,TG,DSC,XRD,and rheological tests. The experimental results show that the addition of a branching agent does not affect the chemical composition, thermal stability, and crystallization properties of the PBST-Kx molecular chain. However,as the degree of functionality of the branching degree increases, the number of branching chains of PBST-Kx increases, the molecular weight Mn of PBST-Kx reduces, and the molecular weight distribution widens. The addition of a branching structure improves the melt viscosity of PBST-Kx,which makes it have higher elasticity and longer relaxation time. With the increase in branching degree, the tensile strength and elongation at break of PBST-Kx decrease.
