Experimental study and technical characteristic analysis of volatile organic compounds treatment by regenerator in refinery plants
Volatile organic compounds(VOCs)emissions from refinery enterprises are featured by many scattered emission sources and large fluctuations in gas volume and component.According to these characteristics, the technology of VOCs treatment by the FCC regenerator was proposed, and simulation experiments were carried out to investigate the treatment effect of VOCs with different components and concentrations in the regenerator. The experimental results show that under the normal running conditions of industrial FCC units, the concentrations of non-methane hydrocarbon or organic compound in the flue gas meet the relevant emission standards after the combustion of different VOCs in the regenerator.Catalyst has a certain catalytic effect on the combustion of VOCs,and there are direct and catalytic combustion modes for VOCs in the regenerator.Compared with other treatment technologies,VOCs treatment by the FCC regenerator can greatly reduce the cost of VOCs treatment in refinery plants, with high efficiency and environmental friendliness.
