Study on Performance of Catalysts in Fluidized-Bed Methane Dry Reforming
In order to develop a Ni catalyst highly resistant towards abrasion and highly active for meth-ane dry-reforming in fluidized bed reactors,by utilizing the characteristics of Al2O3 crystal transforma-tion at high temperatures, the commercially available spherical γ-Al2O3 particles were used as starting material to prepare a highly attrition-resistant support with controllable specific surface area and crystal form close to α-Al2O3.Nickel based catalysts with different low loading levels were prepared by impreg-nation method, characterized using techniques including ICP,XRD,BET and H2-TPR,the results obtained have shown the 1.8%Ni/α-Al2O3 catalyst exhibited stability comparable to commercial cata-lysts(10.5%Ni/Al2O3)under reaction conditions of n(CH4)/n(CO2)=1 at 850℃.
