Survey on the conscious health status and work environment related factors of public place employees in Fuling District of Chongqing in 2022
Objective To understand the health status and influencing factors of employees in public places in Fuling District of Chongqing,and to provide basic basis for health promotion of employees in public places.Methods In 2022,a questionnaire survey was conducted among employees in public places in Fuling District of Chongqing by using a random sampling method,x2 test and multivariate logistic regression methods were used to analyze the influencing factors of health status of employees,the difference P＜0.05 was considerded statistically significant.Results Total of 953 employees in public places in Fuling District of Chongqing were surveyed,and 465(48.79％)of them consciously had unhealthy symptoms in the last month.The results of univariate analysis showed that noise pollution,humid environment,presence of flies,mice or cockroaches,poor ventilation,musty odor,peculiar smell of tap water,knowing where to wear masks,and wearing protective equipment actively at work had significant effects on the health status of employees(all P＜0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the poor ventilation in the work environment(OR=1.781,95％CI:1.150-2.759)was a risk factor for the health of employees,and knowing where to wear masks(OR=0.570,95％CI:0.429-0.757)and actively wearing protective equipment at work(OR=0.534,95％CI:0.402-0.710)were protective factors for the health of employees.Conclusions There are many health problems among employees in public places in Fuling District of Chongqing.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the enforcement and supervision of health,and also we should improve the health situation in public places,strengthen health promotion and training for employees,so that to reduce the impact of hazardous factors on the health of employees.
