Epidemiological characteristics of notifiable infectious diseases in Jiangdu District of Yangzhou City from 2013 to 2022
Objective To systematically explore the changes of the epidemiological characteristics of statutory infectious diseases in Jiangdu District of Yangzhou City from 2013 to 2022,and to provide relevant theoretical guidance for formulating disease prevention measures.Methods Excel 2010 and SPSS 23.0 software were used to analyze the reported surveillance data of statutory infectious diseases in Jiangdu District of Yangzhou City from 2013 to 2022,and the comparison of rates was conducted by x2 test.With P<0.05,the difference was considered to be statistically significant.Results From 2013 to 2022,a total of 25 878 cases of Class B and C infectious diseases were reported in Jiangdu District of Yangzhou City,with an annual average incidence rate of 247.55/105.The incidence rate of male was higher than that of female.The largest number of cases was reported in children aged 0-4 years.The incidence of varicella was the highest among respiratory infectious diseases,and the overall incidence rate showed a decreasing trend(x2=33.30,P<0.001).The incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis ranked second,and the incidence rate showed a downward trend(x2trend=427.340,P<0.001).Hand,foot and mouth disease,and other infectious diarrhea,were the main reported intestinal infectious diseases.Blood and sexually transmitted diseases had the highest incidence in 2019(23.90/105).The incidence rates of natural foci and insect-borne infectious diseases were relatively low,with only single digit cases reported in 2021 and 2022.Conclusions The incidence of statutory infectious diseases in Jiangdu District of Yangzhou City had decreased significantly.It is necessary to continue strengthening the monitoring and intervention of statutory infectious diseases such as pulmonary tuberculosis,chickenpox,hand,foot and mouth disease,and other infectious diarrhea.
