Retrospective analysis of laboratory test data of 90 cases of fascioliasis in Dali Prefecture from 2012 to 2023
Objective To retrospectively analyze the changing characteristics of laboratory test indexes in patients with fascioliasis infection, and to provide reasonable guidance for early and accurate diagnosis of fascioliasis infection. Methods The laboratory test data of 90 cases of fascioliasis(31 confirmed cases and 59 clinically diagnosed cases)before drug treatment in Dali Prefecture from 2012 to 2023 were collected, and the blood routine parameters, serum specific antibodies, stool egg detection and other relevant results were retrospectively analyzed.SPSS 20.0 software was used to analyze the data, and the value range was represented by the mean value(minimum value to maximum value).Data were compared by t test,Chi-square test and Fisher exact probability method.P<0.05 indicated that the difference was statistically significant. Results The blood routine of 90 cases of fascioliasis was characterized by a significant increase in eosinophilic granulocyte percentage(100.0%),with an average increase of 30.3%,accompanied by Hb decrease in 11.1%cases and platelet increase in 36.7%cases.The positive rate of serum antibodies against fluke fasciola was 100.0%.The antibodies against other parasites were detected simultaneously, and there were positive reactions in different proportions. The positive detection rate of stool eggs was 34.4%,and CT/MRI(computed tomography/magnetic resonance imaging)or color ultrasound showed hepatobiliary disease. Conclusions There were different changing characteristics and application value of laboratory detection indicators of fascioliasis.Comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the detection results are conducive to improving the efficiency of early diagnosis of fascioliasis.
