Titanium alloy suspension specimen is an important structure of aircraft.In this paper,a method of detecting cracks in time by combining strain monitoring and dye penetration detection in suspension vibration fatigue test is proposed,and the process and parameters of dye penetration detection process are described in detail.Penetrant detection is prone to generate false displays at structural mutations.The same process parameters are used to carry out the penetration detection for an intact specimen and two fatigue test specimen.The obtained penetration morphology is observed and compared under a magnifying glass with a light source,and it is confirmed as crack display.This method is worth learning and popularizing.
