The function of simulating high and low temperature is an important extension function of true triaxial testing machine.In this paper,a true triaxial testing machine equipped with linear heating system is developed independently,which is used to study the mechanical properties of the samples such as rock,concrete,pavement materials under triaxial stress and high and low temperature coupling,and can also complete the stress freezing test during fracturing.The linear heating system mainly realizes the heating and cooling of the sample on the basis of the true three-axis interlocking fixture.The principle is that the heat conduction medium oil heated and cooled by the die temperature machine in the fixture block transfers the heat to the sample of the fixture,and realize the simulation of high and low ambient temperature of the sample in the range of-60℃~+200℃.The temperature control system adopts the dual-objective PID control method to ensure the linear heating in the range of 1℃/h~5℃/min,and the temperature control accuracy is within±1℃.
