摘要
文本基于调查问卷和数据分析,使用历时研究法,考证了"达人"一词从先秦到当今的词义沿革.发现流行语"达人"一词并非大众认识的外来语,而是地地道道的中国本土语汇."达人"既可以用作名词,属于定中结构,也可以用作动词,属于动宾结构,所指内容历经嬗变,可表达丰富多样的语义,是典型的概称语."达人"一词在不同的历史阶段,据其所指语义,可以翻译为不同的英语表达式,在语境转换中体现其概称性.研究结果一方面有利于增强语言教师教育教学中的考证意识,避免人云亦云,提高师生的科学精神;另一方面验证了人类语言文字的概称属性,激励学界同仁观察语言现象,提出新的语言观,构建新的语言学理论.
Abstract
This paper,based on a survey,attempts to investigate the semantic changes of Chinese"达人"from the Pre-Qin Dynasty to the present time and has found that the ever popular Chinese expression"达人(Da Ren)"is by no means a loan expression,that the Chinese history has witnessed the changes occurring in the grammatical structure and its semantic function,and that the Chinese"达人(Da Ren)"has various English equivalents based on its meanings."达人(Da Ren)",therefore,is a generic expression from which we can observe language and try to put forward some new viewpoints or definitions concerned.This paper is beneficial for Chinese and overseas teachers and students to learn and study Chinese and other languages as well.
