摘要
系统功能语言学认为,语气系统是体现人际元功能的主要语法系统,在该理论中具有重要的地位.文本通过对比悉尼语法和加的夫语法在语气系统描述上的差异,综述了系统功能语言学语气系统理论的研究进展,并从依赖小句和零句的系统化、语气系统的语义化与精密化、语气系统与语篇结构及其他系统的关系、语气系统的适用性等四个方面,指出该理论在理论发展和实际应用中面临的挑战.文本呼吁跨学科研究和理论整合,以促进语气系统理论的发展与完善.
Abstract
The mood system is a primary grammatical system realizing the interpersonal strand of meta-function,which holds a significant position in Systemic Functional Linguistics(SFL).This paper reviews the research progress of the mood system theory within SFL by comparing the differences in the description of the mood system between Sydney Grammar and Cardiff Grammar.It identifies challenges faced by the theory in theoretical development and practical application from four aspects:the systematization of dependent clauses and minor clauses,the semanticization and refinement of the mood system,the relationship between the mood system and discourse structure as well as other systems,and the applicability of the mood system.The paper calls for interdisciplinary research and theoretical integration to promote the development and perfection of mood system theory.
