Objective To analyze the relationship between ABO blood type incompatibility hemolytic disease in newborns and blood testing indicators and their diagnostic value. Methods The clinical data of 70 neonates delivered in Dejiang County People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were collected, and the erythrocyte antibody release test was performed on the neonatal venous blood, and the blood detection indexes[including total bilirubin(TBil),neutrophil ratio(NEU%),hemoglobin(Hb),platelet count(PLT),direct bilirubin(DBil)and mean corpuscular volume(MCV)]of mothers and neonates were analyzed by automatic blood cell analyzer. The diagnostic rate of ABO incompatibility neonatal hemolytic disease was summarized, and the blood testing indicators were compared with those of 70 normal neonates. Results The diagnostic rate of ABO incompatibility neonatal hemolytic disease was 8.57%(6/70).The levels of TBil and NEU%of patients were significantly higher than those of normal newborns, and the level of Hb was significantly lower than that of normal newborns[TBil(μmol/L):265.34±16.35 vs.186.34±13.68;NEU%:(65.34±6.37)%vs.(53.62±5.69)%;Hb(g/L):133.67±16.62 vs.175.65±20.68;all P<0.05].There was no statistically significant difference in the levels of PLT,DBil and MCV compared to normal newborns[PLT(×109/L):265.62±18.62 vs.265.37±18.67;DBil(μmol/L):19.32±4.32 vs.18.99±3.96;MCV(fL):104.32±6.34 vs.104.37±6.38;all P>0.05].Conclusions Indicators such as Hb,NEU%,MCV and TBil in blood tests are related to the incidence of HDN and could serve as important criteria for early prediction and diagnosis. The combined detection of above indicators could further improve the accuracy of diagnosis, providing strong support for timely clinical treatment and intervention.
