Translation Study of Chinese Architectural Classics from the Perspective of the New Era
The translation and dissemination of Chinese architectural classics is an important step for Chinese traditional culture to go abroad.Translation of architectural classics should conform to the value of present society,meet the cultural requirements of target culture and its social needs in the new era.Therefore,translation of Chinese architectural classics at present should be purpose-oriented from the macro perspective and proper translation strategies should be chosen to build tar-get text from the micro view.This paper gives a summary and analysis to the present translation and dissemination of Chinese architectural classics,and puts forward the translation strategies and ways of Chinese architectural classics in the new era,in order to improve the translation and dis-semination of Chinese architectural classics,and construct the global pattern of Chinese architectur-al culture and architectural thought.
