Haikou Quarantine Hospital in Yingkou is the most important historical building of mod-ern quarantine in Northeast China.It carries historical value,scientific value,social and cultural value of modern Chinese quarantine history.Based on the evolution analysis of the base site of Haikou Quarantine Hospital in the urban fabric of Yingkou,the paper studies the protective measures for Haikou Quarantine Hospital with the correlation analysis method of urban renewal and building pro-tection.The preliminary restoration design of Haikou Quarantine Hospital was formed by sorting out the architectural evolution process,architectural function and the style and scale of outpatient build-ing in the relevant historical documents of Haikou Quarantine Hospital.The professional function of epidemic prevention and quarantine in the outpatient building of Haikou Quarantine Hospital was ad-vanced in China at that time,and the restoration design of the outpatient building could provide a practical basis for protecting the regeneration and activation of Yingkou urban renewal.
