This paper constructs a comprehensive evaluation system of new urbanization and land use efficiency,uses the entropy value method to quantify the level of new urbanization and land use efficiency in Liao-Zhong-Nan city cluster,and constructs a coupling degree model,a coupling coordination degree model and a relative development model to investigate the degree of networked and coordinated development of the new urban development and land use efficiency of Liao-Zhong-Nan city cluster from 2010 to 2022.The results show that the relationship and degree of coordination between new urbanization and efficient land use in Liao-Zhong-Nan city cluster shows an upward trend on the whole,but it has not yet realized the benign interaction,and there are obvious differences in the coupling coordination degree of each region,and the coupling and coordinated development level of Shenyang and Dalian is obviously higher than that of other regions.
