Study on the Influence of Base Material and Layer Position Setting on the Mechanical Response of Asphalt Pavement
In order to study the structural mechanical response of asphalt pavement under different base conditions,based on the theory of layered elastic system,the finite element analysis software is used to find out the influence law of base material type and base horizon setting on the mechanical re-sponse of asphalt pavement.The results show that the bottom of the asphalt surface layer is in a state of compression and tension,corresponding to the semi-rigid material base and the flexible material base,respectively,which shows a negative correlation between asphalt surface bottom stress and base modulus.For the base of the combination of semi-rigid and flexible material,the stress state of the asphalt surface bottom is only related to the layer setting of the flexible material,while the stress state of the semi-rigid base is independent of the layer setting.
