Deformation Characteristic for Shallow Karst Section During Tunnel-entering Construction
For the deformation characteristics of the surrounding rock in shallow karst section during tunnel construction, the tunnel geological conditions were effectively identified, and a 3D model were set up for analysis based on the result of geological radar and the monitoring data of surrounding rock. The results showed that during the tunnel excavation process, small but widely distributed karst structures, such as karst groove, karst ditch and fissure, result in poor integrity of the surrounding rock, leading to a certain degree of displacement of the surrounding rock over a long period of time.At the same time, when the karst structure has a large scale, such as a karst cave with a diameter ex-ceeding 7 m,it will have a relatively obvious impact on the deformation of the unsupported surround-ing rock within 10 m nearby, and measures need to be taken separately to control them.
