A method for the analysis of trace CO and CO2 was established by high-pressure liquid injector-gas chromatograph combined with nickel conversion furnace. The precision, recoveries and minimum detection limits of the method were investigated, and the content of CO and CO2 in the actual samples was analyzed. The results showed that the recovery of CO and CO2 in the standard sample was 98.0%,and the relative standard deviations of the three replicates were less than 3%.The minimum detection limits of CO and CO2 are 0.13 μL/L and 0.26 μL/L,respectively,which can completely meet the quality control requirements of CO and CO2 in isopentane in full-density polyethylene process.
