On the Ecological Restoration of City Impaired Water Bodies and the Urban Water Landscape Construction
Based on the current situation that China's urban water bodies have been severely damaged, the main theories and practices on the damaged water bodies restoration at home and abroad are summarized from the perspective of landscape architecture. In addition, the restoration theories and technical methods are discussed from the visual angle of engineering and ecology. Also, methods on urban water landscape construction, such as the integration of water system with water structure, restoration of impaired water ecology, organization of waterway transportation, protection of historical contexts, inheritance of water culture are summarized. And three aspects of water landscape construction should be emphasized: the landscape style construction, water culture reappearance and waterfront space construction.
