Technology Cognition,Policy Incentive and Farmers' Adoption of Water-saving Irrigation Technology——Based on Double-Hurdle Model
This research using the survey data of 468 farmers in Anhui Province,analyzes the impact of technology cognition and policy incentives on farmers'adoption of water-saving irrigation technology in two stages based with Double-Hurdle model.The results are as follows:Farmers'cognition of water-saving irrigation technology,training and government subsidies positively affect farmers'adoption decision and adoption density;in addition,farmers'education level and environment protection consciousness also positively affect the adoption decision and density of water-saving irrigation technology;but the fragmentation degree of arable land negatively affected the adoption decision and adoption density of water-saving irrigation technologies.Finally,some policy suggestions are proposed:strengthening farmers'awareness of ecological environment protection,perfecting the long-term mechanism of agricultural technology training,increasing finicial support for agriculture,rural areas and farmers,promoting the rational and orderly transfer of rural land management rights.
