In order to realize the dominant competitive position of class mobility,rural parents"going to the city to accompany students"has become one of the few consensuses in the rural acquaintance society.The leap in social class through the investment in the education of children is a product of the era promoted by the social environment,education system and family concept under the multiple forces of urbanization and modernity.Based on the fieldwork in X County,Shanxi Province,it is found that urbanization carries the modernization factor to invade the traditional rural field in China,and the phenomenon of accompanying reading is affected by formal and institutionalized changes in rural structure.Secondly,the declining of patriarchal system and the"face competition"in the acquaintance society has promoted the change of rural culture.Combined with the profound embodiment of China's"downward"family ideology in educational promotion,the"mimicry progression"education competition strategy with family as the unit is finally formed.
