Reform and Research on the Small-Class Teaching Mode of Linear Algebra Course in Agricultural and Forestry Colleges
Linear Algebra is an important basic course of mathematics in agricultural and forestry colleges. However, due to the limitation of many factors, most of the course are taught in large classes, and the teaching effect is difficult to improve. In view of the various problems existing in the large-class teaching mode of Linear Algebra course, the reform and research of the small class teaching mode are carried out.In terms of the teaching method,a variety of teaching forms such as flipped classrooms, classroom discussions, knowledge contests, guidance and summaries are flexibly adopted, and process evaluation is added to the course assessment. In the teaching process, professional application knowledge is incorporated to achieve"integration of general education and specialization",and the network course platforms and intelligent teaching methods are combined to strengthen information education. The results show that the small-class teaching mode is conducive to improving students'learning state and comprehensive ability, and promoting the reform of Linear Algebra teaching. It is also an effective exploration and practice of the teaching mode for cultivating excellent agricultural and forestry talents. In addition, the small-class teaching model based on Linear Algebra course also provides references for the teaching of other general education courses.
