Comprehensively promoting rural revitalization and accelerating the construction of an agricultural power is a strategic task for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Faced with the new situation and challenges of talent demand for rural revitalization,ideological and political course in agriculture-related universities should actively meet the new requirements for revitalizing rural talents and promoting high-quality development of itself.However,the high-quality development of ideological and political course in agriculture-related universities faces many practical difficulties,such as homogenization trends,a lack of close integration with agriculture-related majors,and a scarcity of teaching resources.The farming-reading cultural resources contain rich ideological and political elements,which are of great value in promoting the high-quality development of ideological and political course in agriculture-related universities.These farming-reading cultural resources not only provide strong support for conveying profound truths,but also serve as advantageous resources to enhance their effectiveness.These resources are also valuable wealth for agriculture-related universities to expand the"social classroom,"which can lay a logical foundation for empowering the high-quality development of ideological and political course.To fully leverage the empowering role of farming-reading cultural resources in ideological and political course,the practical implementation paths include deepening the exploration of the educational value of farming-reading cultural resources,constructing an ideological and political curriculum system that deeply integrate farming-reading culture,enhancing the collaborative educational effect of ideological and political course and farming-reading education,strengthening the construction of the teaching faculty for farming-reading culture education,and utilizing modern information technology to innovate educational forms.
