Correlation Characteristics Between Different Quantitative Topographical Parameters and Soil Erosion and Sediment Yield of Watershed Based On Simulated Experiment
Because the quantitative parameters of different physiognomy have their characteristic, people have not uniform standpoint about how to choose the geomorphologic factors of quantitative parameters in the soil erosion forecasting model of watershed. Through the simulated experiment, the correlation degree of relative modulus of sediment transport and runoff modulus of times rainfall in the small watershed with physiognomy fractal dimension, gully density, average gradient, relative height difference, ground rupture degree and relief were studied based on fractal geometry theory, gray incidence analysis, GIS and high precision photogrammetry. The result showed that the correlation degree between physiognomy fractal dimension and modulus of sediment transport and runoff modulus was bigger than other quantitative parameters, and the value was respectively up to 0.804 and 0.895. The quantitative relationship of physiognomy fractal dimension and sediment yield of times rainfall in the small watershed could be described by exponential function. The paper had great meaning in promoting the application of physiognomy fractal dimension in soil erosion forecasting study and improving the precision and adaptability of soil erosion forecasting model.
