Effect of Sulfur Transfer Agent on Thermal Balance of Two-stage Regeneration Catalytic Cracking Unit
The application of sulfur transfer agents is an ideal way to achieve desulfurization of catalytic cracking flue gas.In recent years, there have been numerous reports on the industrial application of sulfur transfer agents in catalytic cracking units, but there is little research on the impact of application on the thermal balance of the unit.Based on the industrial application of JF-SN1P sulfur transfer agent in the 2.8 Mt/a two-stage regeneration catalytic cracking unit of a company, this article quantitatively analyzes the impact of JF-SN1P sulfur transfer agent on the thermal balance of the catalytic cracking unit. The results show that JF-SN1P agent has a combustion promoting effect on the conversion of CO into CO2,which can reduce the CO content in the lean oxygen regeneration section of catalytic cracking from 6.8%to 3.5%,and increase the CO2 content from 13.2%to 16.4%.The proportion of complete combustion of coke increases, the heat release of coke in the lean oxygen section increases, and the heat release of total reaction regeneration coke increases, increase of 9.98%in the proportion of total coking heat release. The CO combustion heat that can be released in the regeneration flue gas of the lean oxygen section is reduced. In order to maintain stable furnace temperature of the waste heat boiler,it is necessary to increase gas consumption to achieve heat balance.
