Design of comprehensive experiment on separation of fine particle in the short wire-plate distance electrostatic precipitator(ESP)
The separation of fine particles is the core content of environmental engineering teaching.In order to improve the comprehensive experimental level of courses such as"Air Pollution Control Engi-neering Experiment"and"Environmental Engineering Comprehensive Experiment",the characteristics of indoor fine particle pollution and its separation technology which are hot issues of public concern are introduced into the experimental teaching.The self-made short distance ESP experiment system is used,fine particles with different particle size range,particle number and mass concentration are simulated,respectively.Efficiency of the experiment system in separating fine particles is comprehensively evalua-ted by changing the electrostatic separation components,electrode configuration,electric field wind speed,power supply voltage and other parameters.The experiment content can be synchronously extend-ed to the application scenarios such as catering lampblack characteristic fine particles.The experiment not only improves the students' experimental operation ability,but also cultivates students' high-level thinking and stimulates students' experimental enthusiasm through the setting of experiments of different difficulty levels,which is of great significance for improving the training quality of undergraduates.
