Exploratory experimental teaching design based on vegetable nucleic acid detection experiment
Taking the detection of genes related to vitamin C accumulation in vegetables as an exam-ple,the application of RNA-related nucleic acid detection experiments with relatively higher opera-tional difficulty in undergraduate experimental teaching was explored.The results show that the students could successfully master RNA related experimental skills such as extraction of ribonucleic acid(RNA)from vegetables,reverse transcription synthesis of complementary DNA(cDNA),PCR amplification testing of target gene expression,so that the expected teaching goals were achieved.The implementation of this experiment project promoted the students to integrate knowledge from multiple disciplines,helped them improve their ability to discover and solve problems,and form the spirit of ex-ploration and innovative thinking.This played an important role in cultivating compound talents with innovative and entrepreneurial practice abilities.
