Practical experience of operating a virtual teaching and research section in an open community mode
The teaching and research section is the most basic unit of teaching organization in universi-ties.The virtual teaching and research section(VTRS)is an important exploration of the digital trans-formation of basic teaching organization construction in the information age.However,this new type of organization spans across universities and cities.How to motivate participants,maintain and guide their participation behavior is a key challenge in the operation of VTRS.The VTRS for database courses pro-poses the idea of operating VTRS based on the open community model,and puts forward the core con-cepts of"open,dedicated,competitive,and ordered."It establishes a hierarchical organizational structure and a working group operation mechanism.After two years of practical exploration,it has de-veloped a knowledge map for database courses,enriched teaching experiment cases,carried out a se-ries of characteristic teaching and research methods,such as"co-preparation of a course",created the brand activity of"Bringing Domestic Databases into the Classroom".The member universities have won a batch of nationally and provincially first-class courses,and participating members have a batch of won national and provincial-level teaching achievement awards.
