以能源与动力工程专业本科教学专业核心课程中的重点内容—空化现象为例,介绍了江苏大学能源与动力工程学院在"新工科"背景下利用虚拟仿真平台进行能源与动力工程专业本科生实验教学改革的情况.课程基于虚拟仿真实验平台技术实现空化现象的可视化与控制,以泵为载体,使学生在理解空化现象的基础上,掌握泵的空化性能与运行特性;掌握空化实验平台的具体操作步骤,学习数据采集与分析方法.可以达到传授专业核心知识、解释复杂现象、启发专业思维的教学目的.
Application of virtual simulation in experimental teaching of energy and power engineering specialty
The reform of experimental teaching in Jiangsu University for the major of energy and power engineering by using virtual simulation platform under the background of emerging engineering educa-tion is introduced.The cavitation phenomenon,which is a core subject in the specialty courses of the major of energy and power engineering,is taken as an example.With the presented course,visualiza-tion and control of cavitation phenomenon are implemented based on a virtual simulation experiment platform.The cavitation phenomenon in the impeller pump serves as a main teaching material,so the students can master the cavitation performance and operating characteristics of the pump via recognizing and understanding the cavitation phenomenon.Meanwhile,the students can practice the procedures of operation through the experimental platform and grasp the technique of data acquisition and the meth-ods of analysis.The presented course aims to impart specialty knowledge,explain complex cavitation phenomenon,and inspire professional thinking.
