Experiment and analysis of reflectivity variation in continuous specular reflections
In order to explore the influence of the cumulative effect of light polarization on reflectivity and the change rules of reflectivity in continuous specular reflections, firstly the cumulative effect of light polarization was theoretically analyzed in the whole process of continuous specular reflections;then,an optical experiment was conducted to measure the intensities of the two orthogonal components of non-polarized light in the process of continuous specular reflections with the same incident angle for 5 times;finally, the two components'and total reflectivity were calculated and the variation rules of those reflectivity were analyzed. In theory,in the whole process of continuous specular reflections, the reflectivity of the two components of light should always remain constant, while the total reflectance will gradually increase with reflection times;since there is still an error within 3.5%between the experi-mental results and the theoretical values,it is suggested that the experimental conditions should be im-proved further to verify the growth trend of the total reflectivity with reflection times.
