Objective To summarize the methods and efficacy of 11 cases of dorsal interosseous flap with deep fascia in the treatment of soft tissue defects on the back of the hand with cavities.Methods Selected 11 patients with soft tissue defects with cavities in the back of the hand caused by trauma admitted to the Hand Surgery Department of Tangshan Second Hospital from August 2014 to August 2022,designed a skin flap pedicled with the dorsal interosseous artery carrying the deep fascia,the cutting area of the skin flap was from 4.5 cm×6.0 cm to 10.0 cm×8.0 cm,the size of the deep fascia carried was from 2.0 cm×1.5 cm×2.5 cm to 3.0 cm×2.5 cm×2.5 cm.Results All 11 flaps in this group survived smoothly,patients were followed up for 8-24 months,the color of the flap was similar to that of the surrounding normal tissue,the skin margin was flat,the blood supply of the flap was good,and the hand function was restored well.Conclusion Interosseous dorsal flap carrying deep fascia can achieve good therapeutic effect in the treatment of soft tissue defects in the back of the hand.
