Rational Examination of Development of Professional Football in China from the Perspective of Conservation of Resources Theory
In the past 30 years of Chinese professional football,there have been many social problems,which have had a destructive impact on Chinese sports and Chinese football.In order to actively explore the new problems and challenges Chinese professional football is faced with in the new stage of development,this study uses the methods of literature research,logical analysis,and case study to analyze the development issues of Chinese professional football.It finds that there are disorders in the current stage of development of Chinese professional football such as unclear rights and responsibilities in management authorities of professional football,regulatory vacuum in professional football development,moral confusion among professional football practitioners and confusion in the value goals of professional clubs.From the perspective of conservation of resources theory,this study examines these problems in the context of accelerating the construction of sports power,and proposes some comprehensive revitalization strategies:clarifying the existing resource stock of Chinese professional football to promote the interaction among different resources;combining with the dynamic process of Chinese professional football resources to form into the spiral mechanism of resource fluctuations;and rationally promoting the interpersonal flow of professional football resources to achieve group effectiveness in revitalization and development.
