The digital economy plays a central role in driving the high-quality development of the sports competition performance industry.Through the research methods of literature review and logical analysis,this study delves into the dilemmas and the practical paths based on clearing up the generative logic of digital economy empowering the high-quality development of sports competition performance industry.It suggests that the high-quality development of sports competition and performance industry empowered by digital economy should focus on three requirements of"new development",which is the process of realizing digital transformation and high-quality development through the deep integration of digital economy and sports competition performance industry.However,dilemmas still persist,including incomplete policy frameworks,significant disparities in digital infrastructure,a shortage of integrated digital talents,and inadequate utilization of digital technologies.Practical paths:refining the digital policy orientation frameworks to enhance the connectivity and effectiveness of the law-based governance of sports;fostering the construction of digital infrastructure to lay a solid foundation for industrial digital economic expansion;harnessing the collaborative power of multiple subjects to create the innovative models for cultivating integrated digital talents for sports;and improving the application ability of digital convergence to expedite the establishment of adaptable mechanisms for supply-demand relationships.
